Different from his conventional pieces, this venture into the subgenre of spaghetti western is his very first journey into experimentation in the world of country rock. This song is a story about a farmer trying to find his lost mule. Initially, the farmer was not very happy with the mule skipping work which is indicated by the lyrics, “Fool mule of mine,” but later his outlook changed to “Cool mule of mine,” because he viewed him as taking a break from work on Fridays.

"Not only is this song perfect for a jam session but also has an equally cool backstory."

Tony Tiffin, the author of Arc Road, handed the chorus and the first verse to Rapids and asked him to do something with this and together they brought this piece of music to life. Another important contributor of this song is  David Levene who played the Banjo, bass guitar, and the electric guitar parts as well as mixed and produced the song.
