The latest single from The Music Of Sound, "Cold Weather," by Monochrome Motif Records, aptly portrays the magic of dreampop into a dreamy, cinematic soundscape-living. This is their most popular hit in a live setting so far, showing that the synth trio has a chemistry that is undeniable and an innovative artistry.

Music Of Sound is a post-classical dream-pop trio merging invention and emotion. Comprising South Indian vocalist Sherin, English flutist Elena Trent, and Welsh composer and guitarist Neil March, the band made waves on their first outing on the BBC Introducing Stage at Latitude back in 2017.
"Fuelled by their ethereal soundscapes and heartfelt melodies, The Music of Sound's "Cold Weather" remains at the forefront of innovation with their unique sound."

Sherin’s otherworldly voice glides dreamily over Neil March’s stacked synths, and Elena Trent’s soft flute lines place wistfulness, nostalgia, and longing across all. Together, the trio concocts an intimate yet expansive sonic journey that is the essence of "post-classical dream-pop." Lyrically, Cold Weather Man is a sort of color-and-texture snapshot into cold, wintry introspection on themes surrounding isolation and resilience. All those melodies rise and fall like a breathtaking cascade, instilling warmth against the cold song that feels like a reassuring hug on one of winter's dark and cool days.
With "You Lost Out" already striking success, and now "Cold Weather", their following songs will just cement The Music Of Sound into a major player in the indie-pop scene. Watch the space for more reviews and playlists.
